FleetCheck, chosen by the industry leaders for fleet management software
FleetCheck has been chosen by FORS, Logistics UK, Van Excellence, Driving for Better Business and the DVSA to provide fleet management software systems.
We also partner with many leading safety organisations.
FORS
The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme is a voluntary accreditation scheme dedicated to driving-up standards in the road transport industry. Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2018, FORS continues to provide best practice principles for transport operators and, with over 4,800 members, is now a well-established industry accreditation scheme. FORS encompasses all aspects of safety, efficiency and environmental protection by training fleet operators and encouraging them to measure, monitor and improve performance.
FORS provides accreditation pathways for operators of any type, and for organisations that award contracts and specify transport requirements. FORS Bronze, Silver and Gold membership encourages progressive accreditation with the ultimate goal of achieving exemplary levels of best practice. FORS members stand out from the crowd; operating to standards well above the legal minimum, and benefitting from access to a wide range of incentives that provide a competitive edge.
DVSA
DVSA Earned Recognition provides commercial vehicle fleets who can demonstrate good compliance track records with the opportunity for fewer inspections, plus a range of other benefits.
To take part in Earned Recognition, fleets have to make key information available to the DVSA and third-party auditors electronically, covering areas such as vehicle roadworthiness, work undertaken by drivers, and driver hours.
Logistics UK
Logistics UK is one of the biggest business groups in the UK, supporting, shaping and standing up for safe and efficient logistics.
They are the only business group in the UK that represents all of logistics, with members from the road, rail, sea and air industries, as well as the buyers of freight services such as retailers and manufacturers whose businesses depend on the efficient movement of goods.
Van Excellence
The Van Excellence scheme is an industry-leading initiative that aims to enhance standards of van operator compliance, celebrate operators who demonstrate excellence and represent the interests of the van industry.
Meeting the requirements as laid out in the Van Excellence Code requires dedication and differing levels of support on a company basis. The benefits of adhering to the requirements include:
- improved levels of safety
- reduced risk of accidents and breakdowns
- increased efficiency through improved working practices and fuel efficiency
- improvements to compliance that in turn reduces the risk of penalties and fines
DRIVING FOR BETTER BUSINESS
Driving for Better Business is a campaign designed to raise awareness of the importance of work-related road safety in the business community and public sector. Representatives from these communities are recruited to promote and advocate the business benefits of managing road safety effectively.
ROAD HAULAGE ASSOCIATION
The Road Haulage Association (RHA) is the only UK trade association dedicated solely to the needs of UK road transport operators. It is the voice of the road haulage profession, a champion of its interests and a respected partner to the broader logistics community.
The RHA’s best in class operations, intelligence and communication aid the public’s understanding of the road haulage profession. It provides its members with advice, information and guidance; up-to-the-minute research and a code of conduct to enhance their professional stature.
BRAKE
Brake Professional is a global, not-for-profit initiative that promotes road risk management, coordinated by road safety charity Brake.
It helps organisations manage their transport requirements in ways that are safe, sustainable, healthy and fair.
FleetCheck is a proud member of Brake Professional.
The Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP)
The Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP) is the fleet industry’s premier membership organisation which embodies the combined strengths of two of the industry’s most prolific organisations, ACFO and the ICFM. It provides fleet stakeholders with a single point of entry to membership that enables access to the combined activities of these two leading industry bodies.
