Meet Your Hosts

Barrie Wilson
The Commercial Fleet Consultant at FleetCheck brings 20 years of expertise in transport and operator licence compliance, HGV operations, and fleet management. A Chartered Member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport, and a Member of the Association of Road Risk Managers, Barrie has held key roles at Logistics UK - where he contributed to the success of the Van Excellence scheme - and as a Transport and Compliance Manager for a national haulage company.

Phil Breen
Earned Recognition National Account Manager, has worked for the DVSA for nearly 20 years in both Testing and Enforcement departments. Having been a Traffic Examiner for several years, he later headed up bus compliance for the DVSA and now manages the Earned Recognition scheme. Phil informs the industry about the Road to Earned Recognition program and engages with operators to support the adoption of new technologies aligned with the ER ethos of safety and compliance.

Jess Partridge
National Compliance Manager at Wolseley, the UK’s largest plumbing, heating, and cooling trade specialist merchant, has worked at Wolseley for nearly two decades. International CPC Managers Road Haulage certified, Jess will be joining Barrie and Phil for a panel session, to talk about his own personal experiences with Earned Recognition, as an accredited operator.
