FleetCheck is using Commercial Vehicle (CV) Show 2026 as the platform to launch key enhancements to its Technician workshop management system.
Improvements include a new workflow allowing jobs to be allocated to specific staff on specific days, providing fleets with absolute visibility over their available capacity at any time.
Also, it can now be used to manage a wider range of compliance tasks including MOT tests and servicing as well as the existing DVSA Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMIs).
Technician was originally launched in 2020 and has so far been adopted by fleets totalling more than 10,000 commercial vehicles and assets.
Barrie Wilson, strategic relationship manager, said: “This has been a successful product for us, being especially popular as a digital means for workshops to plan, carry out and record DVSA PMIs, including creating electronic records of defect rectification.
“Linked to each user’s FleetCheck fleet management system and our Driver inspection app, it intelligently adjusts schedules to ensure ongoing fulfilment of DVSA Earned Recognition, with all information instantly submitted to the authorities.
“The new enhancements we have made here – including several suggested by customers – add to that core appeal, enabling the management of a wider range of compliance actions and ensuring that workshop capacity is available to fulfil them.”
Growing interest in the product was especially being seen from companies competing for contracts with large public sector bodies, with Earned Recognition increasingly a requirement, Barrie said.
“More and more often, Earned Recognition is included in tenders of this type and businesses want to be able to rubber stamp that section of the submission document to show they take fleet compliance seriously.”
Alongside Technician, FleetCheck will be showing its full range of products at CV Show including their core fleet management software suite and driver licence checking solutions.
Barrie said: “CV Show is a core event on the fleet calendar and we have been exhibiting here for many years. It’s an ideal forum to meet existing and potential customers, learn more about the latest industry trends, and demonstrate our technology to visitors.”
FleetCheck’s stand at the CV Show can be found at 5B60.
