J O'Shea & Sons is a family-owned tipper truck and aggregate recycling company based in Manchester. With a diverse, heavy-duty fleet and strict compliance obligations (including FORS and CLOCS accreditations) they needed a fleet management solution that could bring everything together under one roof.

Why FleetCheck?

Kieran came across FleetCheck while searching for a system that could consolidate his fleet operations. As a FORS-accredited business, one thing stood out: FleetCheck was the only FORS-approved fleet management system on the market. This prompted a demo.

Kieran was dealing with a cupboard full of folders, from defect sheets to PMI records, all handled manually. Defect sheets would arrive back from drivers covered in grease and muck and required constant back-and-forth between the office and the garage.

At the other end, the FleetCheck Technician app keeps the workshop connected to the same system, so nothing gets lost in translation between the driver flagging an issue and the fitter resolving it.

And for Keiran, who’s frequently out of the office, having access from his laptop wherever he is means nothing gets missed.

It's the connectivity of it all – everything just flows. Years ago, the fitters had their own office in the garage where all the truck files were kept. As the transport manager, I was constantly back and forward. Now Ben completes an inspection on his tablet and two minutes later I've got it – already allocated to the truck, defects, rectifications and all. I can just go through what he's done.
