As we close the chapter on 2025, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on an incredible year, and to say thank you. From cost savings and reduced downtime to intelligent insights and more efficient processes, it’s been amazing to see what you’ve accomplished.
Now twenty years since FleetCheck was founded, our mission remains unchanged: to make fleet management more manageable for everyone. Against the backdrop of an increasingly complex fleet ecosystem, we’ve stayed focused on being your single source of truth – that one central platform that cuts through the noise for over 2,000 customers operating more than 300,000 vehicles and assets.
These partnerships drive everything we do, and this year they brought our fifth consecutive reader recommendation nomination in Fleet News for ‘Software.’ This recognition comes directly from you, our users, and sets the tone for what we know will be a brilliant 2026.
The user experience
2025 was a year of remarkable growth. We welcomed 324 new clients to the FleetCheck family and reached a record-breaking 45,000 users online in a single day. That’s a lot of people relying on our platform to manage their day-to-day operations. For many of you, FleetCheck has become a “bible” for all your fleet management needs, removing the need to bounce between multiple systems or fight against data silos. This level of visibility is clearly making a real difference.
Take HMS Works, for example. They’ve harnessed this visibility to remove the complex admin burden of compliance, giving them more time to focus on what matters:
“At HMS, we’ve integrated FleetCheck with our internal systems to streamline everything from vehicle maintenance and compliance tracking to driver management. Bringing these data sources together has made it far easier to spot trends, plan maintenance proactively, and ensure nothing slips through the cracks. The result has been a significant improvement in visibility across the fleet, with time savings for our operations team and greater confidence in compliance accuracy.”
Barry Ebden, Fleet, Plant & Waste Manager at HMS Works
Daily operations
Another major highlight from the year was the completion of 7.7 million vehicle checks via the FleetCheck Driver app – marking a 13% increase from the previous year – with the first Monday of every month remaining the busiest day among our users. 6 billion miles were also logged on our system, with many of you continuing to use FleetCheck to track fuel consumption and identify costly inefficiencies. Reflecting the growing importance of connected systems, 96% of our clients now have at least one integration in place, helping to reduce manual work and make better use of fleet data.
Sara Davis, Business Development Manager at Deback Enterprises Ltd shared:
“FleetCheck is not just a fleet solution, it is an entire business solution. I have saved 50% of our man-hours with admin reduction, and I have also saved money on our fuel spend with the data now available to me. The information is so readily available it makes everything so much easier to control. I can document penalties and incidents and I use FleetCheck LicenceAssured for driver licence checking which has saved me loads of time. As a result, I haven’t had to employ an administrator! Win!”
Preventative maintenance
Preventative maintenance took centre stage this year, and the numbers speak for themselves. 230,000 MOTs and services were completed and logged,125,000 PMIs tracked, and an impressive 276,000 defects identified and rectified. In our experience, being able to catch defects early has proven essential for our customers in reducing vehicle downtime – one of the most costly and disruptive challenges in fleet management.
That’s why, at the end of last year, we launched our new in-platform maintenance planner. More intuitive and interactive than ever, it gives you greater in-system visibility and enables you to filter results more comprehensively – helping you stay on top of maintenance planning and keep your fleet compliant.
The real-world impact of proactive maintenance is clear. When speaking with Justin Toole, Fleet Manager at M&Y Maintenance & Construction earlier last year, he revealed the impact increased uptime has had on his operations:
“FleetCheck has been a massive help in minimising VOR, because it allows us to track our maintenance and identify when to chase Workshops and Bodyshops for updates on kit. Let’s say a Ford needs a service every 2 years or every 15,000 miles, FleetCheck reminds you when it’s due, so you never miss a service. If you’re doing all the basics right, the number of breakdowns will decrease. By reducing vehicle downtime, we save money on cover vehicles. We’re focusing on preventative, instead of reactionary, maintenance now. Addressing issues ahead of time means fewer things go wrong and it’s harder for costly problems to slip through the cracks.”
Digital compliance
Staying compliant shouldn’t mean drowning in paperwork. This year, FleetCheck LicenceAssured automatically checked 112,820 driver licences through our direct DVLA integration – no manual chasing or spreadsheets. Meanwhile, 9,890 driver incidents and collisions were documented through the FleetCheck Driver app, giving users the real-time visibility they need to respond quickly and protect their duty of care.
Our Driver app also got a significant update last year. Technical improvements made vehicle inspections more reliable, and defect logging even more seamless and intuitive.
For Shane Skipp, Lead Safety Auditor at Future Network, the shift to digital compliance has been transformative:
“Since implementing FleetCheck we have saved approximately 40% of administrative time. Using the app is a big part of this timesaving, and a bonus that we have no paperwork anymore! We also use FleetCheck LicenceAssured which has saved us around 35% of admin time just on licence checking alone, we used to need support from an extra person to do that job which we don’t anymore. By integrating our tracking system into FleetCheck we now have much more visibility of our drivers and this has resulted in a 50% reduction in the amount of penalties and charges we have had to pay compared to previous years. Using FleetCheck in our business has eliminated the need to employ additional staff, in total we feel we save upwards of £20K per year.”
Data that drives action
More remarkable results have been achieved this year. 310,000 assets have been managed on the system, 1 million reports have been run (up 27% year-on-year), and 80.5 million litres of fuel have been tracked – up a dramatic 4,000% from the previous year. But beyond centralising your data, customers have truly leveraged the system this year to make smarter strategic decisions. From determining optimal vehicle replacement timing to identifying high-risk drivers, spotting cost savings, addressing inefficiencies, and monitoring emissions – this is where a flexible system that consolidates data and enables smart decision-making proves invaluable.
Wyatt Tait from Adrian White Building Supplies experienced this firsthand when they used FleetCheck to run a report on their most economical vehicles. The analysis from FleetCheck surprised them, when they took the decision to get rid of an 8-year-old lorry, and keep a 13-year-old one because it had better carrying capacity – these are the kind of insights that you can’t get from gut-feeling and guesswork.
“With FleetCheck you can see trends where a vehicle isn’t as reliable as expected and drill down into why. You can analyse the mileage, look at which driver is being sent to all the building sites on rough terrain versus smooth tarmac. You get a lot more analysis from the reports.”
Loyal customers
Finally, it’s incredibly rewarding to see our long-term customer retention figures continue to rise – a testament to the trust our customers place in us. 130 clients celebrated 5 years with us, 51 clients marked a decade of shared success, and 6 clients reached an impressive 15 years of partnership. This loyalty is further validated by our customer satisfaction scores: 98% of survey respondents said they would recommend us, based on 253 responses. These numbers mean everything to us and confirm our approach is resonating.
“The funny thing is, we’ve gone through a lot of changes over the years, but the one constant has been FleetCheck. It’s grown with me, and I’ve grown with FleetCheck. I wouldn’t be without it.” – Yvonne Cannon, Fleet Manager at SMS Energy
Looking ahead
As we look forward to 2026, we want to say thank you – and make a promise. We firmly believe that whatever your fleet size, mix, complexity or maturity, your fleet management should never hold you back. Whether you’re consolidating data for the first time or feeding fleet intelligence into boardroom decisions, we adapt and scale to fit your operational needs. We’ll continue prioritising practical solutions to your day-to-day fleet challenges, so you have one platform for wherever you are and wherever you’re going.
Here’s to another great year!
