He will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s products are developed to offer further enhanced functionality and relevance to commercial vehicle users from small vans to trucks, as well offering them expert advice and guidance.

Barrie held key roles at the Freight Transport Association (FTA) over a 14 year period, including membership relations manager and tachograph and driver hours contract manager, as well as developing the small fleet Van Excellence programme.

He is also highly proficient transport manager, most recently being transportation and compliance manager at H.Sivver, and additionally holds the National Freight Certificate of Professional Competence from OCR.

During recent years, he has worked extensively with initiatives that involved the FTA and FleetCheck, including the introduction of online Van Excellence audit tools and an innovative pre-use app for drivers.
